Classes
Parish Orientation
Two or three times per year, we have a time for guests, newcomers, or anyone who would like to learn more about Luminous Parish. This is a space to ask questions, learn about everything from Luminous KiDS to where we see the parish in 20 years.
The Anglican Way
This class offers a greater understanding of Anglicanism, Holy Eucharist, and the sacred rhythms of the Church. It is a two-three part course offered twice per year and is a requirement for Confirmation.
Sacraments
Baptism Class
Our baptism class is an instructional time for both children and adults.
Confirmation
Confirmation is a rite in which a baptized person affirms the vows made at their baptism. It is one of the seven historic sacraments and goes back to the earliest days of the Church. Confirmation marks the point in the Christian journey at which you affirm for yourself the faith into which you have been baptized and your intention to live a life of committed discipleship. The Anglican Way (Catechism) Class is prerequisite for Confirmation. Students (Middle School & High School) will be instructed during a series of classes over the year that we provide which can prepare them for Baptism and Confirmation.
