Luminous KiDS Curate
Paula Rohrer and her husband Russ have been with Luminous Anglican for the past three years. She has worked with children and youth in some capacity for the past twenty years. Even before accepting the position of Luminous KiDS Curate, you would have found her in the midst of the kids, on purpose, for one reason or another. She has an honest love for listening to children and walking with them through their understanding of God’s love for them. A native of Southern California, Paula works professionally in the Hospitality Appraisal and Consulting industry. She and Russ live in the College Grove area and have fully embraced this season of enjoying their three adult children and their dog Charlie.
Tim has been a part of leading worship services for the past 15 years, and has been a worship pastor for eight of those.
After falling in love with spiritual formation and liturgical traditions, he wanted to dive deeper into helping people facilitate attunement to God in all of life and became a certified spiritual director three years ago.
Tim is grateful to be a part of a church community that is in pursuit of Jesus by engaging the rich history of the contemplative stream and he is excited to be a part of resurrection life in the world together.
Fr. Erik Willits
Erik lives in Franklin, TN with his wife Andrea and their three children—Jack, Reese, and Soren. Erik completed studies at Olivet Nazarene University and Nashotah House Theological Seminary. He is ordained a priest in the Diocese of Churches for the Sake of Others. After many years traveling the country preaching and speaking, Erik served as a youth pastor at Christ Church in Plano, Texas, and most recently as a church planter in McKinney, Texas. Additionally, Erik assists Bishop Todd Hunter with special projects including hosting and producing the Intersection Podcast. When not wrangling kids, creating or listening to podcasts, Erik enjoys woodworking, smoking meat on the grill, and reading a good book with bourbon in hand. He always has a book or podcast recommendation in his pocket, just ask!
Mark Nesbitt is the Formation Pastor at Luminous Anglican and is in the process of becoming ordained. The adventure of his life has lead him to run a communications company, publish several books and other writings, and co-found an adventure retreat organization called Pathway Collective.
Mark, his wife Becky and their three children strive to live in intentional community with their friends and neighbors. They have discovered that chairs and food in the backyard lead to great conversations and relationships.
