Anthony Skinner
Music Curate
Anthony is a spiritual director, speaker, and artist/worship leader. He is producer, and sometimes cohost of the Typology Podcast, creative director for Ian Morgan Cron, and principle and co-creator of the “Shamah Way” (Prayer and Meditation) app.
Through group and one-on-one processes Anthony helps people recover their hearts and souls in a way that empowers them to better show up to their lives, God, and others.
As a Songwriter, Anthony has received numerous awards (Billboard, SESAC, etc) and his albums have received critical acclaim from Relevant Magazine and Paste Magazine, and his book, Worship Smartbook: Actionable Tips for Real-World Worship. was selected as “Best of the Best” by Worship Leader magazine.
Anthony has written songs and/or produced for many artists such as Kim Walker-Smith, Ellie Holcomb, Chris Quilala, CeCe Winans, Jon Reddick, Chris McClarney, & All Sons and Daughters.

Bekah Pogue
Spiritual Director
Bekah is passionate about offering you a warm, welcoming space to attune to the truth of God, the humanity of Jesus, and the mystery of the Spirit. She is a certified Spiritual Director through Sustainable Faith, School of Spiritual Direction and completed the 19th Annotation, an 8-month Ignatius “retreat in daily life” program where she fell in love with the down-home humility of Jesus. In 2017, she founded Pasture Experience, rooted in Psalm 23, where she offers spiritual direction, holistic retreats and poetry & ponderings. Bekah has a heart for those who are feeling stirred toward the balance of contemplative action and honest expressions but are not sure where to begin. Empowering brave souls to experience intimacy with God through connection, contemplation and creativity is her heartbeat.
Bekah also brings her experience as a Grief Recovery Method Specialist and is currently in grad school to become a licensed marriage and family therapist so that she can integrate therapy and spiritual formation into her practice. “Grace and space” is her mantra.

Fr. Chad E. Jarnagin
Vicar | Rector
The Reverend Chad E. Jarnagin is the founding Vicar of Luminous Anglican Parish. He was ordained priest in 2015. He has a Master Certificate, M.A. Biblical Studies, a Master of Divinity, and will eventually pursue doctoral work. Chad is a Certified Enneagram Teacher and Spiritual Director. He is the author of the book, Learning to Be: Reconstructing Peace & Spiritual Health (Morgan James Publishing). Member of the President’s Advisory Council on Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships (2003-2009). Chad has more than 25 years of experience as pastor, musician, researcher, and writer.
He and his wife Jennifer, a Montessori educator, have three sons and live in Franklin, TN. He continues his family’s heritage by coaching baseball in the local youth league with his sons.

Fr. Heath McClure
Assisting Priest
Heath graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a degree in history and philosophy. He is an ordained Anglican priest. In preparation for ordination to the diaconate, he completed directed studies under his mentor (of Blessed Memory), The Right Reverend Lucien Lindsey, Suffragan Bishop of the South in the Episcopal Missionary Church. Heath was ordained priest in 2017.
Heath is a lover of books, friendship, conversations and bringing people together. He is also a life-long lover of his hero in the faith: Fred Rogers (of Blessed Memory). Heath is often found daydreaming of a day when every neighborhood is one of acceptance, love, and peace. He is convinced that Jesus came to bring this about. On earth as it is in heaven.
He and his wife, Shannon, a personal trainer, have four children and live in Franklin, TN. They sometimes dream of writing a parenting book called, We Didn’t Know What the F*$k We Were Doing.

Mark Nesbitt
Formation Curate
Mark Nesbitt is the Formation Curate at Luminous Anglican and is in the process of becoming ordained. The adventure of his life has led him to run a communications company, publish several books and other writings, and co-found an adventure retreat organization called Pathway Collective.
Mark, his wife Becky, and their three children strive to live in intentional community with their friends and neighbors. They have discovered that chairs and food in the backyard lead to great conversations and relationships.

Megan Johnson
Luminous Students Curate
Megan is an avid pun maker and appreciater who is passionate about bringing people together and leaning into opportunities to nurture or be a part of the development of the remarkable humans in her life. By day, she serves as a Regional Marketing Manager at a tech company, leveraging her role to provide meaningful resources and support to her community. Her journey as a youth leader spans across various youth programs nationwide, where she has mentored elementary school students, led Young Life initiatives, served as a camp counselor, and guided vibrant youth groups. Her personal relationship with God grew immensely during her Junior High years, igniting a ferocious curiosity that cultivated a deep and reverent love for Christ. Her desire is for each student to leave Luminous equipped with the tools to cultivate a personal and communal connection with God as well as the conviction that Jesus is faithful and better than all the world can provide. As a proud aunt to the four best humans in the world. Beyond her professional endeavors, Megan finds joy in board games, cherishing family time, enjoying a good book with a pour over, exploring cities, restaurants or outdoor settings, and embracing the present moment with those around her.

Paula Rohrer
Luminous KiDS Curate
Paula Rohrer and her husband Russ have been with Luminous Anglican for the past three years. She has worked with children and youth in some capacity for the past twenty years. Even before accepting the position of Luminous KiDS Curate, you would have found her in the midst of the kids, on purpose, for one reason or another. She has an honest love for listening to children and walking with them through their understanding of God’s love for them. A native of Southern California, Paula works professionally in the Hospitality Appraisal and Consulting industry. She and Russ live in the College Grove area and have fully embraced this season of enjoying their three adult children and their dog Charlie.
Vestry
Luminous is led by the Vicar and Vestry, with advice and support from a distinguished board of stewards. The Vestry acts as our legal board of directors and works with Vicar to support the ministry. Luminous is a part of Churches for the Sake of Others (C4SO), a community of churches and leaders committed to nurturing existing congregations as well as planting new churches. Under the leadership of Diocesan Bishop Todd Hunter, C4SO seeks to announce, embody and demonstrate the Kingdom of God.
